A Future Tense in "When I'm gone"

The singer in the video clip is certain that something's going to happen in the future. What is it?



Yeap, we use be going to when we're sure that something will happen. Have a look at the sentences below and try to fill in the blanks:


1. It's cloudy. ......................................................... rain.
2. She hasn't studied. ............................................. fail.
3. They're trying over and over again. ......................... make it!



Right now you must be ready to know whether the following statements are true or false. If false, correct them:
  1. She's going on a short trip.
  2. She's got two tickets.

  4. She'd like to travel on her own.
  5. She's leaving the day after.
  6. When she leaves, nobody is going to think of her.

2. Can you make up a dialogue for this scene? What does the dog ask? What does the elder man tell the dog?

3. Have a look at the map. Make up new dialogues asking and giving directions. Take into account the expressions below:
